Job summary

Bonnie Plants, LLC is seeking a Materials Planner to support site leadership in Alabama. This role drives material planning for production, coordinates with procurement, and optimizes inventory to balance costs and service levels.

The planner will analyze forecasts, coordinate with vendors, and develop reports to track performance across the supply chain, enabling continuous improvement and on-time delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecast, demand, schedules and inventory and influence purchasing decisions.
• Determine material requirements from production schedules.
• Review weekly raw material, components and finished goods requirements.
• Schedule and expedite delivery of material components to meet dates.
• Generate and release purchase requisitions to qualified suppliers.
• Manage inventory to optimize cost and quality.
• Produce inventory reports and trend analyses.
• Develop reports to measure performance and drive change across the supply chain.
