Job summary

Dover Corporation in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Inventory Planner to drive material planning, maintain accurate BOMs and routings, and coordinate with Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet production schedules.

The role requires 5+ years in inventory operations, strong MRP experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Eligible for discretionary bonus; benefits include comprehensive health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in inventory operations and control.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally; respond to inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Production Materials Planning and manage MRP.
• Complete part masters and bills of materials to reflect current practices.
• Ensure routings reflect current manufacturing practices.
• Expedite late or critical orders for on-time delivery.
• Manage material allocations for shop orders and customer requirements.
• Communicate shortages to Sales and Manufacturing.
• Generate shop order packages and release to stockroom.
• Determine best assembly locations considering cost and capacity.
• Generate export paperwork and purchase orders for offshore partners.
• Manage cycle count program and floor stock levels.
