Job summary

Moss Inc. is hiring a Master Scheduler to level-load production schedules nationwide. You will coordinate with Sales, Pre-Production, and Production Management to ensure on-time delivery by selecting optimal plants and timing for each job. Strong data-driven decision making is required.

This role requires travel to plants and regular rounds on the factory floor to validate scheduling decisions and capacity utilization.

Qualifications

• Experience in production scheduling, expediting, or production control in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, level-loading, and moving work between plants.
• Strong judgment under pressure and ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience with scheduling/ERP systems and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Balance production demand across Moss plants nationwide and maximize throughput.
• Act as central decision point for scheduling new orders, selecting optimal plant and timing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Production and Production Management daily to resolve conflicts.
• Lead weekly meetings and maintain milestones for major projects.
• Monitor schedule attainment and coordinate with departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track rework and reflect current status in the schedule.
• Maintain weekly capacity data and use dashboards to drive capacity-based actions.
