Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to join our scheduling team to develop the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives.

You will track plans, perform risk analysis, manage critical paths, and apply earned value management techniques to monitor progress and drive corrective actions. Security clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Master’s Degree.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
• Bachelor's degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
• Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
• Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Use Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
