A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to oversee the production schedule development and execution in Riverside, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and their application in supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables, formulas such as VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; hands-on experience with platforms like MS Project, Jira, or Asana is a plus.
• APEX certification (CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in an automotive OEM or tiered supplier environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a comprehensive master production schedule based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability.
• Use ERP systems to manage scheduling data and maintain real-time accuracy of production timelines.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales departments to ensure schedule alignment and resolve potential conflicts.
• Apply project management practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to streamline workflow and scheduling processes.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and inefficiencies; propose and implement effective corrective measures.
• Troubleshoot issues such as production delays, material shortages, or unplanned changes in customer demand.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to scheduling accuracy, throughput, and capacity utilization.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting tools for forecasting, scenario planning, and performance tracking.
• Ensure scheduling procedures align with company policies, industry standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
