Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Master Production Scheduler for our Covington, LA operations, with travel to plants as needed. You will develop, maintain, and execute integrated master production schedules across multiple facilities to align with demand, capacity, and inventory targets.

You will partner with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Logistics to provide visibility into constraints, risks, and trade-offs, driving data-driven decisions for service and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve short- and mid-term master production schedules across multiple facilities.
• Convert demand forecasts, customer orders, promotions, and inventory targets into executable production plans.
• Balance capacity, labor, equipment uptime, and maintenance constraints to meet objectives.
• Maintain rolling 8–12 week schedule visibility for proactive planning and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align schedules with production realities and financial targets.
• Support S&OP processes by aligning production plans with forecasts and budgets.
