Job summary

TIAA seeks a motivated student in Chicago for a hands-on business development support role. You will conduct market research, prepare strategist briefs, and assist with investor relations materials to guide outreach and strategy.

The ideal candidate is a rising senior or junior (Class of 2028/2029) pursuing business, accounting or finance, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, attention to detail and excellent communication. This is an in-office role with base pay around $30/hour.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or junior expected to graduate 2028/2029 in business, accounting or finance.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to present data clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and qualify targets (RIAs, broker-dealers, family offices).
• Prepare strategist briefs with research and private markets data.
• Develop materials for senior leadership presentations on strategy and targets.
• Support meetings by creating briefing docs and background research.
• Draft post-meeting recaps and log notes for relationship progression.
• Provide ad hoc analysis on segments, competition, or channel trends.
• Support investor relations through performance analytics and benchmarking.
• Synthesize peer market intelligence to inform collateral and comms.
