Job summary

Portland State University is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to organize and streamline marketing communications. You will lead the delivery of detailed project plans, maintain Asana workspaces, and drive timely completion of marketing initiatives while coordinating across teams and reporting progress.

The role reports to the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy in University Marketing and Communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
• Four years of professional marketing experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience coordinating projects for web, print, advertising, video, or digital content production.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans and timelines for assigned marketing initiatives.
• Create and maintain organized project workspaces in Asana and Google Drive.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action items for project meetings.
• Generate regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and asset repositories.
• Coordinate effective communication across project teams.
