Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement to drive strategic sourcing for marketing initiatives, retail campaigns, and store promotions.

You will manage RFx events, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance across internal teams and suppliers. The role requires 10+ years of Samsung procurement experience, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience at Samsung in procurement or a related field.
• Proven expertise in marketing procurement with a focus on retail campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Core Skills: Strategic sourcing and procurement management.
• Competencies: Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive bidding and quote processes for marketing initiatives.
• Develop and manage RFx events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) for creative, media, print, digital, and retail activation agencies and suppliers.
• Maintain SEA Procurement (local) and Suwon (global) competitive bidding standards and policies tailored to retail marketing and store execution.
• Prepare and provide reports to Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure processes meet company policy and regulatory expectations.
• Translate annual/seasonal plans into a sourcing roadmap. Support intake, prioritization, and project planning to ensure procurement is engaged early and aligned to timelines.
• Execute retail-specific negotiation strategies for rate and term negotiations. Lead rate negotiations with agencies and suppliers.
• Verify that commercial terms align with negotiated pricing and scope; identify discrepancies and drive corrections.
• Validate new marketing and retail vendor requests, coordinating with risk, finance, and legal teams.
