Job summary

Waymo is seeking a strategic procurement lead to oversee procurement for Marketing, Communications, and PR. This role involves category management, agency negotiations, and stakeholder partnerships. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of procurement experience and a strong understanding of marketing procurement.

Responsibilities include managing agency retainers, negotiating contracts, and supporting Waymo’s growth goals in an innovative and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 4 years focusing on Marketing, Communications, PR, or Public Affairs sourcing.
• Deep understanding of marketing procurement nuances, including agency fee models and media buying transparency.
• Excellent executive presence with the ability to influence and build trust with marketing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end category management for a diverse portfolio including Media Buying and PR.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Marketing and Communications leaders.
• Negotiate and draft Master Services Agreements focusing on media transparency.
