Job summary

You will independently manage marketing/communications categories, partner with stakeholders and suppliers, and drive cost, quality, risk and value outcomes. You will own category plans, contracts, supplier management and budget results, escalating complex issues to senior leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in sourcing, procurement or category management within marketing/communications.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, contract deliverables, and stakeholder requirements.
• Experience analyzing spend, proposals, contracts, budgets and market data.
• Experience coordinating work of others or guiding junior staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of defined procurement and category goals for marketing/communications.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and contracts to ensure service levels and value.
• Develop specifications, success metrics and evaluation criteria with marketing partners.
• Analyze supplier, market and spend data to inform sourcing decisions.
• Support bidding, supplier selection and negotiations to improve total value.
