Job summary

Highpoint Health Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Market Director of Case Management to lead department operations, staffing, and budgeting in a hospital setting in Gallatin, TN. The role requires an active RN license and a nursing degree, with strong leadership and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities include directing workload, implementing goals, managing budgets, overseeing IT and service levels, and ensuring quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred; leadership experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Direct the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service levels, and complaint management.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures compliance with funding; coordinates internal/external audits.
• Supervises staff: hiring, training, performance reviews, and corrective action.
