Gemstar Manufacturing is seeking a strategic Operations Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team of operations and engineering professionals at Cannon Falls, MN. This full-time on-site role reports to senior leadership and focuses on profitability, process excellence, and safe production.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer and employee centric, with strong leadership, Lean/CI expertise, and the ability to balance priorities with urgency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering/leadership experience.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience producing engineered-to-order or build-to-print OEM components.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of operations and engineering professionals to achieve operational excellence.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Provide mentorship and develop team members for professional growth.
• Provide technical direction to engineering and quality teams for process development.
• Establish performance expectations and hold teams accountable for results.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to meet timelines and cost targets.
• Promote ISO compliance and safety/regulatory adherence.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
