Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation and take ownership of key accounting, reporting, and financial analysis activities. You’ll work closely with plant finance, engineering, and program teams while gaining exposure to the financial side of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include analyzing actual vs. budget, supporting month-end close, asset management, and tracking program-related spending.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Professional accounting designation such as CMA, CPA, CGA, CA, or equivalent.
• Strong accounting, reconciliation, and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced comfort working with Microsoft Excel and financial data.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual vs. budget and forecast performance.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
• Manage fixed asset, capital expenditure, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Track program-related purchase orders, spending, and financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and audits.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, AP, and AR teams.
