Job summary

DrinkPAK is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function in a fast-paced, multi-client co-packing environment in Fort Worth, TX. This hands-on leader will supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, own the month-end close, and partner cross-functionally on audits and cost accounting.

The role requires 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA/CMA a plus, and strong cost accounting and ERP skills. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
• Minimum 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory or lead experience
• Strong cost accounting knowledge including job costing and variance analysis
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting
• Experience with ERP accounting software (SAP B1/S4HANA, NetSuite, SYSPRO)
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Hands-on leader who builds processes and teams

Responsibilities

• Own and manage month-end close process with close schedule and journal entries prep.
• Supervise Staff and Senior Accountants and develop bench strength.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards.
• Analyze variances between standard and actual costs and investigate with Operations.
• Prepare and review customer-level margin reporting for decisions.
• Coordinate routine daily transactions with other departments (AR, inventory, reporting).
• Oversee invoicing and interact with customers as needed.
• Oversee inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Design and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead audits and tax filings; coordinate with auditors.
• Identify process improvements in financial reporting and ERP enhancements.
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
