Job summary

Caleres, Inc. in Novato, CA, is seeking a Manager of Demand Planning & Digital Commerce to lead inventory and demand forecasting across multiple channels.

You will develop budgets, seasonal plans, and in-season forecasts, partnering with Merchandising, Digital Commerce, Marketing, and IT to drive growth and efficiency. You will analyze trends, optimize inventory turns, and improve sell-through while coaching planning talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, purchasing, or digital commerce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise and inventory planning strategies across eCommerce, marketplace, wholesale, and omnichannel channels.
• Develop annual budgets, seasonal plans, and in-season forecasts aligning with financial objectives and demand.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Digital Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to execute planning solutions.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate insights into actions.
• Develop allocation, replenishment, and lifecycle management strategies to maximize product availability and reduce excess inventory.
