Job summary

The City of North Port, FL is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, estimate, and schedule maintenance work from service requests or work orders. The role expedites operations to meet schedules and supports the Infrastructure Supervisor.

You'll perform field investigations, coordinate with inspectors and supervisors, update the Work Management System, and prepare purchase requisitions. A high school diploma and eight years of planning experience are preferred, plus a Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Eight years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or related.
• Equivalent combination of training/experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Review daily service requests, prioritize and coordinate schedules to meet objectives.
• Conduct field/site investigations and guide Infrastructure Inspector when needed.
• Respond to escalated inquiries within three business days after evaluation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors and others for planning and scheduling work.
• Update Work Management System with estimates, schedules, assignments and completions.
• Provide customers with planned work schedules and updates.
