Job summary

AeroSpec, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source precision-machined parts, fabricated components, and hardware. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure proper parts, quality, and delivery.

The role involves evaluating supplier capabilities, obtaining quotes, expediting critical orders, and maintaining supplier relationships for AeroSpec’s automated assembly systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical procurement or purchasing experience.
• 2 years of machine shop or manufacturing purchasing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase machined parts, fabricated components, and hardware.
• Identify qualified machine shops and suppliers based on capabilities & lead time.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and specs to understand manufacturing requirements.
• Negotiate supplier quotations for machined components and lead times.
• Provide engineering with cost, lead-time, and supplier feedback during design.
