Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Track record in corporate and partnership development including health systems, physicians and other diversified businesses.
  • Success in managing complex M&A transactions within healthcare delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in developing a broad range of national relationships.
  • Collaborating and influencing across a highly complex system environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership in Transactions: Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, prioritizing, evaluating, selecting, negotiating, and executing transactions based on strategic criteria.
  • Business Intelligence & Integration: Deliver actionable business intelligence and integration guidance to implementation teams, ensuring decisions are well-informed.
  • Business Development Execution: Define objectives, scope, and deliverables for the business development function and lead execution.
  • Collaborative Intelligence Gathering: Work with enterprise and market strategy teams to maintain a robust business intelligence database for opportunity identification.
  • Comprehensive Opportunity Assessment: Oversee economic assessments, valuations, and analyses for evaluating opportunities.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Leadership: Identify opportunities, assess alternatives, and negotiate with senior leaders of target organizations.
  • Transaction Integration: Provide integration guidance for completed transactions.
  • Cultivation of New Business Relationships: Identify and cultivate relationships supporting growth objectives.
  • Business Case Development: Build compelling business cases and executive/board presentations for opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with leaders across health plans, finance, IT, and other functions.
  • External Networking: Develop a network of external peers to stay informed on industry trends.
  • Executive & Board Communication/Approval: Develop methodologies to gain support and approvals from executives and boards.
  • Standard Work Development: Establish methodologies for transaction processes and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Engagement of Internal & External Parties: Ensure engagement of internal and external parties including consultants, bankers, legal, and finance.
