Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Corporate Development Analyst to support merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities. You will build detailed financial models, analyze target fit, and prepare materials for senior leadership. The role offers broad exposure across business and functions and potential career advancement.

The team is Denver-based with a preference for local candidates, but highly-qualified remote applicants located in the U.S. will be considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Valuation Advisory, or other M&A-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed financial modeling for M&A and investment opportunities including valuation analysis and synergy assessment.
• Synthesize information from cross-functional groups to develop financial models and assess target fit.
• Summarize modeling results for decision-makers highlighting strengths and risks of opportunities.
• Assist in structuring and managing projects from ideation to completion with due diligence and data room management.
• Develop understanding of Lumen’s industry and strategy to support research on opportunities and competitors.
• Maintain a comps database and publish executive-ready updates.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and senior leadership.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
