Job summary

You will manage bulk gas inventories at Linde customers and use computer-aided planning tools to optimize schedules and resource use.

You will interact with drivers, monitor daily resources, and adjust plans for outages, demand, and inventory.

Qualifications

Six months planning experience in a busy logistics department.
Two-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with KPIs such as dependability, call volume, driver complaints.
Ability to manage time and priorities for positive outcomes.
Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Plan distribution, system planning, and execution of these plans.
Manage bulk gas inventories; use planning tools developed by Linde.
Develop a daily distribution schedule to ensure supply reliability at minimum cost.
Notify management of supply-affecting situations and seek action.
Ensure deliveries comply with QA and regulatory programs.
Initiate Quality Incidents and Near Misses when applicable.
Interact with drivers and supervisors on logistics matters; respond to reports.
Review daily resources to match demand and optimize utilization.
Provide weekly updates to the planning team on current considerations.
