Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 0-3 years of logistics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements, maximizing service and cost performance between carriers and consignment locations.
• Develop daily load plans using EFMS, Topex, TMS or Red PrairieRoute; expedite requests and ensure carrier selections.
• Confirm carrier receipt of daily load tenders via 204, fax, or TMS equipment.
• Schedule appointments to meet delivery requirements; communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align directions.
• Provide daily shipment plans to the distribution center and coordinate carrier pickup times.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance financial performance and service levels.
• Identify compliance issues and propose remediation plans to Operations.
• Supervise yard and shuttle service.
