Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management)
• and 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; or 2 years as Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising and hiring decisions
• or 4 years in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment

Responsibilities

• Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing to drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility
• Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload and performance to meet business demands
• Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with logistics, quality and safety standards
• Investigate and resolve associate, customer and supplier concerns
• Supervise and manage associates and leaders, provide feedback and training
• Attract and retain talent, empower development and create a culture of belonging
• Act with integrity and uphold Walmart values in all actions
• Deliver results for customers while applying EDLP and EDLC business models
