Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing Fargo is seeking a Logistics Manager to own the strategy and drive cost savings across our inbound logistics network. You will negotiate rates, optimize the carrier network, and analyze data to improve efficiency, while overseeing TMS operations and freight audits.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure on-time delivery, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of logistics/transportation experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience with TMS systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Associate degree in logistics, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Drive freight strategy by managing and optimizing the carrier network.
• Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining high service levels.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, including backhauls and route optimization.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues quickly.
• Analyze data (financials, routing, performance metrics) to improve efficiency.
• Manage TMS operations, billing, reporting, and freight audits.
• Handle claims, OS&D, and vendor chargebacks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
