Job summary

GFF is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Manteno, IL to oversee transportation, route planning, carrier selection, and freight negotiation with 3PL partners. The role ensures on-time, cost-effective delivery while coordinating with inventory, sales, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Transportation Management, Supply Chain, and Forecasting Strategies.

• Working knowledge of ERP Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation activities including route planning and carrier selection to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound product movement with 3PL partners and internal teams to maximize OTIF and minimize costs.
• Prepare and supervise customs paperwork as needed.
• Manage inventory planning to ensure on-time fulfillment and minimize excess stock.
• Lead and develop logistics staff and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
