Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Location Management Manager (Real Estate & Strategic Projects) in Illinois. The role leads lease and contract reviews, manages office openings/closings, and guides cross-functional teams across Firm offices.

You will supervise project managers, coordinate with stakeholders, and support regulatory, entity, and budgeting initiatives. Strong analytical, contract, and MS Office skills are required, with a focus on strategic real estate initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, real estate, contract management, business operations, or related functions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and supervising professional staff, including responsibility for work allocation and development.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts and other business agreements.
• Strong financial literacy and ability to contribute to financial analyses.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and create executive-level summaries and presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze lease agreements and vendor contracts related to real estate and facilities.
• Lead planning and execution of new office openings and closings, including related activities.
• Coordinate regulatory registrations and filings for openings/closings.
• Lead entity restructuring initiatives and manage documentation and approvals.
• Develop executive summaries, recommendations, and presentations for leadership decisions.
• Provide financial analyses and reporting for assigned projects.
• Communicate impacts of lease decisions and projects to stakeholders.
• Support capital budgeting and forecasting processes.
