Pitchbox is seeking a relentless Link Building Specialist in Washington DC to drive targeted placements and measurable ROI. You will lead outreach campaigns, assess competitors’ backlink strategies, and secure high-quality links through publisher relationships.

You will collaborate with our SEO and content teams to craft effective pitches, monitor performance, and report on ROI on a weekly basis, leveraging tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and HARO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in link building or digital PR.
• Proficiency with Ahrefs or SEMrush and outreach platforms.
• Excellent written English and persuasive pitching skills.
• Ability to analyze and report on metrics and ROI.
• Experience with HTML/WordPress is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Outreach Campaigns: Execute specific link-building campaigns from ideation to execution (identifying targets, finding contact info, and sending pitches).
• Competitor Analysis: Reverse-engineer competitor backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs/SEMrush to find replicable high-value opportunities.
• Relationship Management: Build, negotiate, and maintain relationships with publishers, link partners, bloggers, and editors for future collaboration.
• Quality Control: Audit links and brand mentions to ensure they meet our strict quality metrics (minimum DR, organic traffic requirements, and relevance).
• Reporting: Track live links and report on campaign performance/ROI on a weekly/monthly basis.
