Job summary

Covista in the United States seeks a Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst to ensure compliance with state, federal and accreditor requirements across institutions, grant degrees, and oversee regulatory advisement.

The role supports Covista institutions, leads multiple projects, mentors colleagues, and helps implement policies while maintaining heat maps and reports. Strong data analysis, communication, and collaboration with senior leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• 4+ years in a federal/state regulated environment.
• Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation preferred.
• Experience gathering and analyzing data and communicating information.
• Motivated self-starter who can complete projects with little supervision.
• Microsoft Office skills required.
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and proofreading skills; interact with senior leadership and outside agencies.
• Writing samples required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all roles of the analyst as needed.
• Gathers data elements and materials for applications and reports.
• Ensures compliant and timely submission of materials.
• Maintains databases and resource materials for tasks.
• Reviews regulations, presents analysis to leaders, and proposes solutions.
• Participates in special assignments and performs related duties.
• May mentor a new colleague depending on experience.
• Maintains relevant regulatory heat maps.
• Leads multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Helps develop and implement policies to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Assesses new initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and prioritizes work streams.
• Assists Manager in assessing regulatory implications.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
