Bartholomew County Public Library is seeking a collaborative Library Director in Columbus, Indiana, to provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for BCPL and its branches. • Master of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited library school and Indiana Librarian Certificate 1; six years of professional library work with at least three years in administrative roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, financial, administrative, and operational leadership for BCPL.
• Prepare and oversee the budget; lead personnel, policy, facilities, collections, technology, outreach, and service planning.
• Develop grants and community partnerships; represent BCPL with the board and profession.
