Latham & Watkins in Orange County is seeking a Legal Talent Manager to oversee talent across offices, committees, or practice groups, guiding utilization, development, and integration while advising on broader talent initiatives. This role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office presence.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years in law, legal talent, or professional services, plus two years of supervisory experience, a JD or equivalent, and strong skills in analytics and relationships to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• J.D. or equivalent, preferably.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in law, legal talent, or professional services.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to firm committees or Chairs, guiding priorities and talent development.
• Build and maintain relationships with the Legal Talent team and other service teams.
• Support progression, performance review, and compensation processes for relevant committees.
• Promote effective work practices and collaborate as a team member.
• Protect confidential and sensitive information handled by the firm.
