Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Legal Counsel to serve as a strategic advisor, handling complex legal matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the aerospace industry. You will report to the General Counsel and help steer contracts, governance, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership.
• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a defense/aerospace company or at a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
• Advise on corporate governance.
• Support M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Counsel on employment law.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel.
