Job summary

The University of Southern California is seeking a Philanthropy Officer for Leadership Annual Giving at USC Arcadia Hospital. This frontline fundraiser will manage a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects, cultivating relationships to secure gifts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 and multi-year commitments up to $25,000.

You will work with the CPO, hospital executives, physicians, and board members to align donor engagement with strategic priorities, track activities in the donor database,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years fundraising experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or educational settings.
• Experience managing a Grateful Patient Program or healthcare philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects with the capacity to give $1,000–$10,000 and multi-year commitments.
• Develop personalized engagement plans to cultivate long-term philanthropic relationships.
• Collaborate with the CPO, hospital executives, physicians, and board members.
• Utilize the donor database to track activities and ensure prompt stewardship.
• Contribute to multi-year revenue strategies aligning with organizational priorities.
