Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks a visionary and collaborative academic physician leader to serve as the next Division Director of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery within the Department of Surgery at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and Enterprise Physician Leader for Vascular Surgery to take a major role in developing and overseeing vascular surgery clinical activities in an integrated model for the Jefferson Health Enterprise.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Surgery, PA license eligibility in PA.
• nationally recognized leader in vascular surgery with academic credentials.
• At least 5 years of leadership in clinical operations, academic/private practice.
• Academic trajectory with administrative responsibilities culminating in senior roles.
• Academic rank at full or associate professor status preferred.
• Strong record of teaching, research, and clinical partnerships.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and health equity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Division's 5 full-time vascular surgeons, APPs, and Fellows and clinical portfolio.
• Lead strategy, growth, quality initiatives, and educational programs across Jefferson Health.
• Drive clinical research portfolio and foster academic-clinical partnerships.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on delivery of vascular services enterprise-wide.
