Job summary

Career Match Pro in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Senior Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management to provide executive leadership across a multi-hospital system, advancing patient safety, risk management, regulatory readiness, and a Just Culture.

You will partner with executives and clinical leaders, drive High Reliability initiatives, oversee investigations and RCA, and mentor safety leaders while delivering system-wide improvements and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; RN license in good standing.
• 7+ years nursing experience including acute care.
• 7+ years progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Certifications in patient safety (CPHQ, CPHRM, CPPS, CPSO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead division-wide patient safety and risk management strategies across the system.
• Advance High Reliability principles and safety culture initiatives.
• Partner with executive leaders on quality, safety, and regulatory priorities.
• Oversee safety investigations, Root Cause Analyses, and improvement plans.
• Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities for system improvement.
• Guide regulatory readiness and accreditation efforts.
• Develop and mentor patient safety and risk management leaders.
