Job summary

The role guides the SOC, external providers, and audit activities to strengthen threat detection and incident response capabilities. The director will own the security strategy, oversee security technologies, and ensure risks are identified and managed across the organization, with collaboration across departments

Qualifications

• 8+ years information security experience or related IT experience.
• Previous information security or IT leadership experience within financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Information Security Team Function.
• Own and execute the Information Security Strategy.
• Oversee enterprise security technologies and solutions.
• Establish and enhance security processes and controls.
• Manage and triage First Mid Security issues and incidents.
• Lead/manage/assist information security projects.
• First line of defense testing and threat hunting.
• Partner across the enterprise.
• Manage internal pen testing and auditing of internal systems.
• Manage information security policies and KRIs.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
