Job summary

Nike Inc. is seeking a strategic sourcing leader to guide the Footwear Materials Sourcing team in developing and executing long-term textile sourcing strategies.

You will lead a small team, drive cross-functional alignment, and partner with design, cost and manufacturing to optimize supplier capabilities and risk management. The role requires 8+ years in materials with sourcing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while delivering on complex business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Materials, with sourcing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, building and developing teams.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and enterprise-level initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a healthy, competitive material source base for textiles.
• Create and lead a 3-year materials sourcing strategy for textile.
• Lead initiatives including localization, multi-sourced strategies and regional sourcing.
• Coach and develop a team of 3–4 sourcing professionals and drive accountability.
• Partner with Product Creation, Material Development, Costing and Manufacturing to shape sourcing direction.
• Maintain partnerships with strategic textile suppliers and stay informed on industry trends.
