Job summary

University of Pennsylvania's University Museum seeks an Associate Director of Cultural Partnerships to oversee partner programs and public engagement in cultural heritage and exchange. Qualifications

• Familiarity with the administration of Federal grants involving academic institutions and non-profit organizations is required.
• Experience administering National Resource Center awards from the U.S. Department of Education is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Articulates and implements the vision and goals of the Center in collaboration with core and affiliated Center faculty and leadership.
• Leads cultivation, coordination, and sustainability of strategic cultural partnerships and coalitions to enhance long-term impact and external engagement.
• Supports institutional engagement, networking, and field-based visits with partners, practitioners, and peer organizations.
• Oversees staff development and program coordination for academic partnerships and related programs.
• Coordinates with Penn Museum Development and promotes funded research.
• Assists with proposal development to align with funder priorities and partner needs.
• Represents the Center in meetings and communicates priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
