Job summary

University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Museum seeks an Associate Director of Cultural Partnerships to lead strategic cultural partnerships and academic outreach. You will oversee programs, manage resources, and strengthen collaborations across the Penn Cultural Heritage Center, Penn Museum, and external partners.

The role demands experience in grant administration, stakeholder engagement, and program leadership, with a focus on long-term partnerships and research initiatives in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Arts with 2–3 years experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal grants administration for academic institutions and non-profits.
• Experience administering National Resource Center awards from the U.S. Department of Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Articulates and implements the Center's vision and goals with core faculty and leadership.
• Manages staff and programs within academic partnerships.
• Oversees workflows, project tracking, and scheduling for Center initiatives.
• Establishes and maintains partnerships with communities and institutional partners.
• Supports proposal development and funding pathways for external initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
