Job summary

CACI is seeking a Lead Engineer for the NUWC portfolio in Newport, RI. The role requires leading engineering strategy, coordinating with the NUWC Newport team, and guiding technical execution across programs.

You will manage day-to-day engineering activities, pursue continuous improvements, and communicate effectively with customers, partners, and stakeholders inside and outside the organization.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership experience and DoD program knowledge.
• Experience managing engineering teams and priorities.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategy for a large intel focused organization for improving and creating processes or systems.
• Lead day-to-day execution activities of the Engineering team in conjunction with the Program Manager.
• Review and collaborate with NUWC Newport to ensure successful technical execution across programs.
• Collaborate to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
• Analyze engineering systems, processes, and projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
