Job summary

Lexington County School District One seeks a Director of Assessment and Accountability to lead data analysis, testing oversight, and reporting for district accountability and program evaluation. This role designs instruments, coordinates state testing, and guides staff development in educational measurement.

The position requires a Master’s or higher in a related field and extensive experience in educational measurement within K-12 education, with leadership responsibilities across departments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in educational leadership, curriculum, educational measurement, statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in educational measurement and accountability in K-12 education.
• Valid SC certification/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Leads assessment and accountability data collection, analysis, reporting and interpretation.
• Coordinates district/state testing programs and liaises with SDE for accountability activities.
• Oversees data storage/retrieval and longitudinal data matching for reporting.
• Provides staff development in test preparation, data interpretation and decision-making.
• Manages staff assigned to assessment, research, and evaluation.
