Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a motivated Land Use and Environmental Associate to join our practice. The Associate will support land use, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance matters for public- and private-sector clients, providing legal analysis, drafting permits and entitlements, and advising on CEQA and NEPA where applicable.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
• Experience as an Associate handling land use and environmental matters.
• Strong knowledge of land use law and permitting.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with CEQA/NEPA is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on land use, zoning, entitlements, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and review permit applications, environmental impact analyses, entitlements, mitigation agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on federal, state, local laws.
• Advise clients through land use approvals, hearings, and permitting timelines.
• Draft memoranda, opinions, and client advisories.
• Assist in litigation support and administrative proceedings.
• Manage multiple matters and client relationships, track deadlines.
• Participate in business development activities and proposals.
