Job summary

Colen Built Development is seeking a Land Development Project Manager in Florida to oversee all phases from due diligence to closeout. You will ensure feasibility, entitlements, design, permitting, and construction align with schedule and budget.

The role requires leading cross-disciplinary teams, coordinating with government agencies, consultants, and contractors, and delivering high-quality outcomes while managing risk and reporting KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive industry experience required.
Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and land use regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of land development projects from due diligence to closeout.
Lead entitlement process with government agencies for zoning changes and permits.
Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, and consultants on project plans.
Develop and manage project budgets and provide regular financial reports.
Monitor construction of infrastructure ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
Serve as primary contact for stakeholders including internal teams and external partners.
Identify and mitigate risks; prepare detailed project reports and KPI dashboards.
Support senior management with planning, calendar management, and travel logistics.
Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with third-party services.
