Job summary

Century Communities, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Manager in Nashville to oversee all phases of land development, coordinating with staff, officials, consultants, and trade partners. You will manage engineering design, budgeting, permits, and feasibility studies for new acquisitions.

The role requires 3+ years in land development or civil engineering, a civil engineering or construction management degree, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with and manage consultants to create land development schedules and budgets.
• Manage and maintain construction schedules and budgets coordinating on-site activity with subcontractors and field consultants.
• Ensure all active sites comply with OSHA safety, regulatory permits, and BMPs.
• Interact daily with multiple company departments, field personnel, contractors, and regulators.
• Coordinate inspection processes with site contractors to schedule inspectors.
• Verify material deliveries for fill, pipes, storm drains, concrete, and amenities.
• Provide ongoing management and monitor all phases of land development infrastructure through on-time delivery.
• Ensure completion of land development, including punch list and warranty work, on schedule.
• Maintain project files and records.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
