Job summary

Great Parks of Hamilton County in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks an Outreach and Land Acquisition Manager to lead land acquisition efforts and support community engagement within master planning and capital projects.

The role partners with landowners, donors, and public agencies; coordinates with GIS and planning staff; represents the organization at meetings and events, and helps prioritize conservation outcomes while maintaining records and ensuring compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, public administration, or related field.
• Three years of community or stakeholder engagement and land acquisition experience.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead agency-wide land acquisition efforts and identify opportunities to advance strategic plans.
• Collaborate with committees, landowners, donors, and partners to support conservation outcomes.
• Foster relationships with community stakeholders and manage communications.
• Support grant applications and maintain project records.
• Coordinate with GIS, planning staff, and volunteers for data management and accessibility.
• Represent the organization at public meetings and outreach events.
