Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Land-Based Procurement Buyer to join the Distribution Admin team in Clackamas. This full-time role focuses on replenishment, operational oversight, strategic procurement support, and vendor relations within land-based protein sourcing.

Bring a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package within a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment Management: manage all replenishment buying for Land-based Procurement across distribution centers; generate POs to maintain inventory levels; oversee freight arrangements; communicate inventory status to sales teams.
• Operational Oversight: oversee price cycles, freight management, quantity limits, and daily communication; ensure service cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery targets.
• Strategic Support: assist category managers in developing strategic sourcing and procurement processes; develop price forecasts for key market drivers; build expertise on key material suppliers and cost structures.
• Vendor Relations and Communication: enforce safety practices and ensure timely, professional transactions; review inventory and product supply to determine ordering needs.
