Job summary

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity seeks an experienced Senior Land Acquisition Manager to source buildable lots and drive a long-range land pipeline aligned with housing goals. You will assess feasibility, finances, and risks while coordinating with brokers, landowners, and municipal partners.

This hands-on role requires leading due diligence, preparing acquisition materials, and collaborating across departments to advance projects from identification to close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in land acquisition, real estate development, site selection, or related field.
• Experience sourcing, evaluating, and advancing land opportunities.
• Knowledge of land development, zoning, utilities, titles, and feasibility.
• Experience performing financial analysis or underwriting for land transactions.

Responsibilities

• Source buildable lots for near-term construction and develop a long-range land pipeline.
• Evaluate site feasibility, including zoning, utilities, access, and environmental factors.
• Lead financial analysis and preliminary underwriting for acquisitions.
• Coordinate due diligence, LOIs, and purchase agreements with leadership and legal.
• Collaborate with construction, development, finance, legal, and leadership teams.
