Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to act as a trusted advisor across the full spectrum of L&D work. You will design engaging learning experiences, consult with senior stakeholders, and partner with the business to build lasting capability.

The role combines hands-on design with strategic consulting in a large, complex organization. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in L&D, strong facilitation and project management skills, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in learning & development across design, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience as an internal L&D consultant: needs analyses, managing expectations, and recommending solutions.
• Facilitation skills, in-person and virtual, across varied audiences.
• Experience designing and building both eLearning and live training programs.
• Clear communication with senior leaders across levels.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred).
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business units to diagnose capability gaps and recommend learning solutions.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders, HRBP, and Talent Management colleagues.
• Design and build learning experiences across formats: self-paced, instructor-led, blended, and in-flow resources.
• Translate needs into clear objectives and design actionable solutions.
• Produce storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, and participant materials.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for varied audiences, in-person and virtual.
• Co-design and deliver programs with SMEs and external facilitators.
• Manage program logistics, communications, and participant experience end-to-end.
• Run multiple concurrent L&D projects with timelines and updates.
• Ensure learning content reflects Morningstar's values and culture.
