Job summary

Ascendiun is seeking a Sourcing Specialist Consultant to support IT procurement across the Ascendiun Family of Companies. You will leverage business acumen, negotiation expertise, and contracting knowledge to engage suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This hybrid role reports to the Senior Director of IT Sourcing and requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in strategic sourcing, technology procurement, and multi-million-dollar transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, supplier management, tech procurement, and contract negotiations.
• 5+ years negotiating technology agreements (SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, outsourcing, healthcare tech).
• Ability to manage a high-volume sourcing portfolio and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; translate complex requirements into sourcing strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management across senior leaders, technologists, and legal partners.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud, data platforms, AI-enabled services, cybersecurity, and licensing models.
• Commitment to continuous learning as markets and models evolve.
