Job summary

Motiva Enterprises LLC is seeking a Lead Category Manager – IT to drive sourcing strategies across technology categories. You will partner with IT, Cyber Security, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to translate business needs into actionable commercial outcomes and optimize total value.

You will lead negotiations, supplier performance reviews and risk mitigation while aligning with Motiva’s policies and governance. Houston, TX-based role with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, MIS, finance, CS or related field.
• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or related disciplines.
• 4+ years supporting technology initiatives, IT procurement, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology categories.
• Strong ability to partner with IT, procurement, legal, finance, cybersecurity and business stakeholders.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives from opportunity identification to contract execution.
• Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct spend, market, supplier capability analyses and benchmarking to identify value opportunities.
• Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships to optimize value and mitigate risk.
