Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks an experienced IT Strategic Sourcing professional to lead RFx development, contract negotiations, and SLA creation for hardware, software, cloud, and telecom. You will work with stakeholders across business, legal, and risk to simplify complex concepts and drive value in a heavily regulated environment.

The role requires at least 7 years in global IT sourcing, strong vendor management, analytical reporting, and the ability to navigate organizational change.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of IT strategic sourcing and category management at a global organization.
• Experience developing RFxs and negotiating hardware, software, telecom/networking, private cloud, public cloud, and IT services contracts.
• Ability to simplify complex sourcing concepts for business, legal, finance, and risk stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with heavily regulated environments and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop RFxs and negotiate hardware, software, telecom/networking, cloud, and IT services contracts.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop SLAs with technology suppliers.
• Simplify complex sourcing concepts for business, legal, finance, and risk teams.
• Manage competing priorities independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Support IT strategic sourcing and category management in a global, regulated organization.
• Analyze, report, and present sourcing information.
• Navigate organizational change and transformation.
